Investiture Ceremony at Sherwood 2017-18

‘Anyone can steer a ship but it takes a leader to chart the course’.

On the very pleasant morning of July 12^th 2017, deserving young talents of ‘Sherwood Convent’ were bestowed with the responsibility of leading their school from the front with their commitment, confidence and competence.

The event began with the outgoing student council members returning their badges to the Principal and sharing their experiences with the gathering.

Then came the solemn moment when the new council members took the oath, lead by the outgoing head girl and head boy.  The members of Integrity Club, Environment Club & Interact Club too were sworn in along.

The new council comprises of Daksh Vasudev and Avantika Thakur as head boy and head girl.  Kajal and Akshat as Vice,  Madhav and Rudhi as Prefects, Manav and Priya as Cultural Secretaries, Sanjeev and Illina as Sports Captains.

All the new council members and newly sworn in club members pledged to work with utmost sincerity and to the best of their abilities. The speeches of Junior Head Boy Amber and Head Girl Zumrah left everyone spellbound.
