The school lays equal impetus on cultural activities as on academics .Round the year regular assemblies and special assemblies are conducted by respective houses and classes in the junior and senior sections.
Special assemblies are organised in form of class presentations by each class on a given theme and celebration of national and religious festivals . During these assemblies, relevant topics are chosen to create awareness amongst children and talk shows are conducted to drive home the message in an emphatic manner. Also amidst rapid westernization, these assemblies strive to invoke the richness of our culture and tradition through dance, drama and skits.
We ensure maximum participation on the stage, in order to boost up the confidence and overcome the stage fright.
Cross country races, environmental awareness rallies are an on going part of our curriculum organised by our environment club under guidance of the teachers
There is a beautiful Chinese proverb, “Teach me, and I will forget. Show me, and I might remember. Involve me, and I will never forget.”
Co-curricular Activities help the students to develop Positive attitude, Self confidence, Team Spirit and Physical & Mental strength. The students are being taught about the tradition and cultural values. Co-curricular activities initiate the development of Four H’s – Head, Heart, Hand and Health. They help students to self-help and maintain a proper co-ordination amid head, heart, hand, and health.
