Gurgaon, September 5, 2023 – Sherwood Convent School in Gurgaon witnessed a heartwarming Teachers' Day celebration today, as students and staff came together to express their gratitude and admiration for the dedicated educators who shape their futures.

Sherwood Convent School recently celebrated a grand investiture ceremony, marking a significant event in the school's academic calendar. The ceremony was held with great enthusiasm and pride as students, parents, and faculty members gathered to witness the formal induction of the new student council. The event began with a welcome address by the school principal Mrs. Kanchan Malik, highlighting the importance of leadership and responsibility. The outgoing student council members shared their experiences and achievements during their term, inspiring the newly appointed leaders to uphold the school's values.

On the very pleasant morning of July 12th 2017, deserving young talents of Sherwood Convent were bestowed with the responsibility of leading their school from the front with their commitment, confidence and competence.

Sherwood Convent School , Gurgaon celebrated it's Founder's Day to mark the birthday of its founder mentor Sqn. Ldr M L Malik.

Sherwood Convent added another feather in its cap by winning a prestigious Inter School Debate Competition Organised by Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. under Vigilance Awareness Week. This is their second debate win within a month.

Leaders are not born but are made by their experiences in life'. To give the first hand experience of leadership to its students, Sherwood Convent School organized Investiture Ceremony for the newly elected Student Council 2016-17 on July 16, 2016.

The year 2016 started with a number of laurels showered upon Sherwoodians as their winning spree continues. Abhya Singh and Karanveer of Class VIII won the Champion's trophy in an Interschool Debate Competition.
