New Students Council for Sherwood

The most coveted day for the trail blazers, the leaders, role models upholding the values of the school, finally arrived and the Investiture Ceremony for the new council was held in Sherwood Convent on 30th July with great enthusiasm and spirit.

There was excitement galore all around. Hosted by the former head girl and cultural secretary the event began with the outgoing students’ council and other club members returning their badges to the Principal. They shared their experiences and received their appreciation letters from the Principal and the Director.

Beaming with confidence the new Council members and the students of Eco Club, Integrity Club and Interact Club received their badges from the Principal Mrs. Kanchan and Director Mr. Arun Malik.

The new council comprises of Karanveer and Abhya as Head Boy and Head Girl, Riya and Shubhayan as Vice Rishita and Vansh as Prefects, Priyanshi and Jaideep as Cultural Secretaries, Priyanshi and Jaideep as Sports Captain. All the new members and newly sworn in Club members pledged to work with utmost sincerity and to the best of their abilities. The speeches of Junior Head Boy Daksh and Head Girl Shriyanshi left everyone spell bound.

In her address Principal Mrs. Kanchan applauded the efforts of the outgoing leaders. Congratulations the new members she told them to be passionate about their responsibilities, and work with honesty, loyalty and integrity. She ended her address with a beautiful and inspiring poem.
