In Sherwood, there are various activities like Splash Pool, Yummy Tummy, English Spell Bee, Earth Day Celebrations, Festival celebrations, Recitation Competitions, Drawing and Coloring Competitions etc to motivate the children. This in turn leads to a happier, healthier and a more cohesive environment.
The active participation in sports and games is encouraged to develop each student’s physical capabilities and qualities such as courage, confidence, self discipline and sportsmanship through Athletics, Basketball, Badminton, Cricket, Handball, Football and Volleyball.
The School’s staff uses the best and latest teaching methodology which stimulates curiosity and helps to make learning a pleasure. ‘Smart class’ technology has been adopted wherein classrooms are equipped with Interactive Boards for all classes. This helps reinforce class room concepts and brings greater clarity of thoughts and understanding.
Group discussions, workshops, excursions, house competitions, special assemblies, project work form an integral part of learning at school. Lessons are devised keeping in mind the quality education and not the quantity of syllabus.
The club is dedicated to environment issues. It campaigns for the improvement of the environment through the activities such as planting trees, recycling and spreading awareness about the care of environment.

Interactors of Sherwood Convent have successfully organised a blood donation camp, promotion of the use of cloth bags, collection of woollen clothing for underprivileged apart from organising successful anti cracker and Swaacch Bharat rallies.
Newspaper in Education’ is a unique platform which invites the students to be a part of interactive columns and contests. Furthermore, students can also acquire latest information on Science & Technology, History, Arts, Heritage and Current Affairs. It also enables them to gain hands on experience in Journalism and become young reporters of the school. Students of Sherwood have been winning prestigious programmes offered by NIE for many years.
